The Star just reported that Norhafiza Abdul Karim found out her brother's death when she logged in Facebook at middle of the night. While New Straits Times report how Norhafiza Abdul Karim found out her brother's death.According to New Straits Times, she read a fatal accident post on Facebook and shocked that it was the express bus which probably her brother was travelling in. She then called the police to confirm what is the name of the express bus. After she checked it was the bus that exactly her brother on board, she immediately rushed to hospital with her family.
There is some process that The Star newspaper did not reported but New Straits Times do.Like what happened once she reached hospital, how does she found out her brother was actually died.
Apart from this, both newspaper did mention about her brother-Norazmi, 24, was to have attended the convocation ceremony on Friday after he graduating from the Sultan Idris Teachers Training University in Perak recently.
Besides the news from Norazmi, New Straits Times did report other news of other victims or survivors where The Star news did not. That is why we can get more information from New Straits Times of what happened to the others, though, not all of them but some.
As the reporter from NST interview the victims or their family, we could know more of the accident.
For example, family of Goo Chuan Heng told the reporter from NST that this accident occured at 6:50pm but the ambulances only arrived at 9pm.
This has post a question to the readers of what make those ambulances take too long to reach the accident site.
If they have arrived earlier perhaps the number of dead could be lessened.
